In her current role as Vice President of Corporate Relations, Ms. Zaepfel is responsible for community relations, working with regional leaders and government institutions. In addition, she manages the corporate philanthropy program, maintaining Uniland’s long tradition of community involvement and support.
Ms. Zaepfel is active in many distinguished community organizations and fundraising initiatives. Her work ranges from the Western New York Food Bank where she served as co-chairperson of the Capital Campaign; to serving as Chairperson of the 8 county-wide Annual Catholic Charities Appeal, where she is currently a member of the Board of Trustees. Ms. Zaepfel is also a member of the Board at the National Federation of Just Communities (NFJC) and sits on the Board of Directors for NAIOP, an association for commercial real estate development, where she has also served as Board President. She has been a Trustee of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra as well as a Trustee of Canisius College. Ms. Zaepfel currently serves on the Board of the Buffalo and Erie County Naval Military Park and is a member of the Bishops Lay Advisory Council.
Prior to receiving her Master of Arts in Organizational Communication from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Ms. Zaepfel earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College. She has also studied abroad, continuing her education in Art History and International Economics in London, England. |
